RoboMFA

Add MFA support to your AI agent in 5 minutes

RoboMFA is MFA for bots and automation. Give your agents a secure way to complete 2FA—add your TOTP secrets once, and your bot calls our API to get the current code when it needs to sign in. No phone numbers, no manual step. Built for automation teams, RPA, and DevOps. Coming soon.

We’re finalizing the product and will offer a simple signup, API credentials per bot, and a dashboard to manage TOTP secrets and monitor usage.

Who It’s For

Any workflow where an automated system needs to pass TOTP (Authenticator-style 2FA) to access an account or service:

  • Automated data & scraping

Bots that log into portals protected by TOTP. Add the secret once; the bot calls the API when it needs the current code.

  • Headless browser sessions

Automated browsers that must complete login flows with 2FA. The client gets the current code from RoboMFA’s API.

  • Backend reauthentication

Systems that re-log into third-party APIs or dashboards. Your backend calls our API to get the current TOTP code.

  • DevOps & CI/CD

Scripts and internal tools that need to access GitHub, AWS, or other TOTP-protected services. One set of credentials per bot.

How It Will Work

Open RoboMFA (MFA via API) in the dashboard sidebar, then add your TOTP secrets (paste the key or scan the QR from the service). Your bot calls our API with its token and the TOTP ID; we return the current 6-digit code so the bot can complete 2FA. You manage secrets and view usage on that same page.

  1. Open RoboMFA — click RoboMFA (MFA via API) in the dashboard sidebar (admin).
  2. Add your TOTP secret — paste the key or scan the QR (e.g. GitHub, AWS). We store it securely.
  3. Get API credentials — one token per bot after signup.
  4. Bot calls the API — your automation requests the current code when it needs to sign in.
  5. Monitor on the RoboMFA page — manage secrets and see usage.

Pricing

RoboMFA

  • Generate code API (POST /api/totp/generate)
  • Unique API credentials (token) per bot
  • Dashboard to add/manage secrets and monitor usage

Pricing may be updated at launch.

Setup (When Available)

The RoboMFA purchase and setup flow will differ from standard MultiMFA plans:

  • No “assign users”

RoboMFA is credential-based: one bot identity, one API token. You add TOTP secrets to that bot; no multi-user assignment like human-facing MultiMFA.

  • API credentials after payment

After payment we issue an API token (and optional secret) for the bot. You get the base URL and auth details to call POST /api/totp/generate from your automation.

  • Add TOTP secrets

In the dashboard you add TOTP entries: paste the secret from the service or scan the QR code. Each entry has a label (e.g. GitHub, AWS root) and an ID you use in the generate request.

  • Bot calls generate endpoint

Your bot calls the API with its token and the TOTP identifier. We return the current 6-digit code; the bot submits it to complete 2FA. You monitor usage and manage secrets in the dashboard.

Security

Authenticated API access

TOTP secrets will be encrypted at rest; we never return the raw secret. Only the current code is returned to authenticated callers. Traffic is TLS-encrypted. For more, see our security details and Privacy Policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is RoboMFA?

RoboMFA is MFA for bots and automation: add TOTP (Authenticator-style 2FA) support so your agents can complete login flows without a human in the loop. You add your TOTP secrets once; your bot calls our API to get the current 6-digit code when it needs to sign in. Coming soon.

How is RoboMFA different from MultiMFA for teams?

MultiMFA is for people: teams share SMS and TOTP codes in a dashboard. RoboMFA is for machines: each bot gets its own API credentials and calls our endpoint to retrieve the current TOTP code. No “assign users”—you configure secrets for the bot and your automation uses the API.

How does it work?

You add a TOTP secret to RoboMFA (paste the key or scan the QR from the service, e.g. GitHub or AWS). We store it securely. Your bot calls our API with its token and the ID for that TOTP; we return the current 6-digit code. The bot uses it to complete 2FA. You manage secrets and view usage in the dashboard.

When will RoboMFA be available?

RoboMFA is coming soon. We’re finalizing signup and the API. If you’d like to be notified when it’s available, contact us or use the “Notify me” button on this page.

What will it cost?

We plan to offer RoboMFA at $5 per month per bot. Each bot has its own API credentials and can use multiple TOTP secrets (e.g. one per service). Final pricing will be confirmed at launch.
